Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Paralegal who has at least five (5) years of experience preparing and filing non-immigrant visa cases (i.e. H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L2, E-3/E-3D, J-1/J-2, TN/TD, consular visa applications, etc.) as well as at least two (2) years of experience managing and/or leading a team or junior-level paralegal staff.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of attorneys:
- Train, oversee and manage the members of the Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) team.
- Prepare and file well-documented, well-presented immigration petitions.
- Draft and file DHS/USCIS/DOL applications and forms, supporting documents, and cover letters.
- Draft letters to clients and inquiries to government agencies as instructed and overseen by attorneys.
- Communicate with clients to gather and obtain the needed materials.
- Use and devise checklists for documents and supporting materials required in particular applications.
- Follow-up on inquiries with various government agencies and clients.
- Respond to client calls and inquiries as directed by attorneys.
- Participate in recruitment of legal staff.
- Participate in and contribute to bi-yearly performance reviews of NIV team members and provide ongoing feedback to team.

- Conduct meetings with NIV team and ensure cases and deadlines are appropriately managed and met.
- Schedule appointments for prospective and existing clients.
- Other duties as specified by attorneys.
Education & Experience
A bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate is required, as well as at least five (5) years of business immigration experience, specifically with non-immigrant visa cases.
